About OneShots
Q. What is OneShots?
A. OneShots gives editors "one-shot" access to top columnists, cartoonists and feature writers. Culled from the talent base at Universal Press Syndicate, Andrews McMeel Publishing and key third-party publishers OneShots enables editors to preview, purchase and publish the best columns, graphic files, articles, features and selected book excerpts.
Q: How do I search for material?
A: There are three ways to find just the right item:
- • Click on one of the Categories in the left navigation to view all content under that topic.
- • Click the Browse Authors link. From the list of authors, you can click on a name to see all content by that author.
- • Search by keyword. Enter one or more search terms, then click on the "Go" button.
Note: if you enter an author's name in the keyword search, you'll only find items which contain that person's name.
Q: How do I purchase the rights to publish an article?
A: Contact your sales administrator by phone or email to receive pricing, distribution and delivery information. Current Universal Press Syndicate clients will have the purchased feature added to their monthly invoice.

Q: How do I preview an item?
A: Click on the Log On to Preview button below the item description. You'll be prompted to login once per session. If you don't yet have an account, you can register as a new customer. You need only login once per session to preview as many items as you like.
NOTE: Your browser must be set to allow pop-ups. Most current web browsers let you allow popups from only authorized sites. If the preview windows do not display for you check your browser's preference settings.
Q: How do I get the content?
A: All content is available for immediate download, email or physical delivery.

Q: How do I know when new content is being added?
A: By registering you will receive a regular budget of new content via email.
